About

Jessica Nojek is a certified Licensed Integrative Coach Professional in the Blueprint Model with the Ford Institute, Debbie Ford. She is author of the book Perception’s Gifts:  A Guide to Owning Your Uncool and Living Your Life Like a Rock Star and a workshop facilitator.

Thirteen years ago I had a deeply personal, transformational experience that put me on the road to helping empower others through the human path of gaining self awareness. Everyone’s path is different, but I feel we all share the same goal- to live an authentic life where we recognize our selves through our experiences with one another.

Coming out of college I lived a life heavily rooted in co-dependency much like a drug addiction, hitting rock-bottom with every relationship foil. At the same time I was always testing the limits of who I thought I was by choosing to hang out in alternative crowds where I loved to compromise my integrity by placing myself into situations that were not really “okay” for me.

In the end, my co-dependency became my salvation and gift, leading me into a metaphysical craze of meditation and psychic studies like Bridget Jones after she finds the stick figure hiding away in her boyfriend’s loo (I wish it were actually that funny!).

With the help of many brilliant teachers and mentors, I was led to life coaching through Debbie Ford’s Shadow model, and came face to face with how I could give back to the world from the wisdom of my life’s circus. As I have been coaching others and sharing my own experiences of continuous personal growth my world has changed dramatically through studying the power of perception. The Course in Miracles and Buddhist teachings on Emptiness gave my mind a reprieve from its ignorance that I was separate from everyone else.

My heart’s conclusion? Through healing our own fractured self perception, we assist in the healing of the collective divide because we are deeply connected on a heart to heart level. And this is the basis of my work as an author and teacher. I am currently in the process of publishing a book titled Perception’s Gifts:  A Guide to Owning Your Uncool and Living Your Life Like a Rock Star that provides tools through the intertwining of my story and the breakdown of perception. We live in a world lacking emotional education, and it is time for a change.

As I grow as a teacher and author I am committed to providing tools for others to live a life that is fulfilling, joyful and empowered. I feel passionate that as we work to educate one another, we can change the world. It is time to live our soul’s fullest potential – imagine what that would feel like!

I’d like to refer you to the words of Bill Murray in the final joy-inducing, tear-jerking scene of the film “Scrooged” about miracles, where the character says:

It can happen every day! You’ve just got to want that feeling!
You’ll want it every day! It can happen to you!
I believe in it now.
I believe it’s gonna happen to me, now. I’m ready for it!
And it’s great. It’s a good feeling.
It’s better than I’ve felt in a long time.
I’m ready.

Jessica Burnham Author, Life Coach, Blogger Purposeful PerceptionI have probably watched that scene over a hundred times just to “put a little love in my heart.” But my intuition tells me that that love is always there for the taking, it just takes a little owning of our power and healing our deepest sabotaging self-perceptions to know it is the truth of our existence. Let’s do it!

Please email me any questions you might have, and explore my “tool box” or blog for inspiration and support.

Big Love! Jessica
